GOODNIGHT MOON LAPBOOK + ACTIVITIES (PRESCHOOL) LEARN & LINK

Do you have an educational post that is about your child and you would like to share? It can be a craft, a lesson, sport etc. that your child learned this week. You do not have to be a homeschooler to LINK up below - happy to have you join us! Then come back every Friday and continue to share your learn and link post! Please do not link up educational reviews - thanks!

My 3 year old daughter has been asking to do homeschool more and more so I decided that on top of hands on activities she needed more.

I  noticed that homeschool share has several lapbooks for preschoolers. So every 2 weeks we will be doing a new lapbook. Instead of doing them as a tradition lapbook we will have a lapbook binder instead were all her work will be 3 hole punched and placed in the binder.

The last 2 weeks we worked on our Good Night Moon lapbook. I printed off most of what homeschool share offers but I added a few more pages to her binder:

This lesson she learned right from left, single and pair, practiced cutting and handwriting.

Then she made moon patterns with her Moon Sand.

Plus we made a coffee filter moon craft.

Materials needed:
WASHABLE markers (black & gray)
Coffee filter
Spray bottle

Have your child color the coffee filter black and gray then bring outside (it gets messy). Have the child spray the colored coffee filter and then if it's a nice sunny day leave outside to dry.

My children love that book. You did a wonderful job on that moon. I wouldn't of thought of doing that. I might try that with my kids.

This is a great lapbook. I don't homeschool my girls, but I love finding activities for them to do at home. I may just have to make them this as well. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the invite. I'll pin this post as I missed it this week and join in next week. Your moon craft looks fun. We made a moon with a shaving cream and glue mix. It dries foamy!

Love the coffee filter moon. I haven't seen that before. I also like making a binder instead of a bunch of separate lapbooks. Thanks!

This is so sweet ... and thanks for the great resources! I still have many wonderful memories of Goodnight Moon, and my kids are 22 and 27 now! Wonderful project. I love your moon. It is gorgeous.

I hope to you don't mind, but I took it off the Kids Get Arty linky as that is supposed to be for "Great Artists" related projects. Would love for you to reshare it next week when the regular craft linky is back up?

Hope that is ok!
